PHOS-CHEK® LCE20W is an uncolored version of PHOS-CHEK LCE20-Fx longterm fire retardant, which is a red solution dropped from aircraft during active
wildfires to prevent their spread. PHOSCHEK LCE20W is a ground-applied fire
retardant that is uncolored and can be delivered to application sites as a
low-viscosity liquid. An innovative 100% phosphate product, PHOS-CHEK LCE20W
utilizes an environmentally friendly formula to offer improved performance, product
safety, and enhanced stability resulting in easier handling. A successor to PHOS-CHEK
LC95W, this next-generation technology improves stability and is easier to handle
and store. The updated formula also reduces environmental impact and disposal
costs.

APPLICATIONS
PHOS-CHEK LCE20W delivers a proactive and preventive wildfire management solution.
This advanced fire retardant can be sprayed ahead of fire season or even during an
oncoming fire threat with standard application equipment such as hydroseeders or tank
sprayers. Anyone using equipment to spray fire retardant for ground applications can use PHOS-CHEK LCE20W, which is qualified by the USDA Forest Service under the updated specification for Long Term Retardant, Wildland Firefighting 5100-304d (published January 7, 2020). PHOS-CHEK LCE20W is also a useful tool for prescribed burns and fire breaks. When applied at lower concentrations, fire intensity can be dramatically reduced, while only slow and controlled burning remains supported.

As an uncolored fire retardant, PHOS-CHEK LCE20W offers all the wildfire prevention
and protection benefits of PHOS-CHEK long-term fire retardant, but it can be applied
in areas that are sensitive to staining, such as around homes or in national parks.
